What we help with

Perimenopause and menopause symptoms we commonly see

Hormonal change can affect far more than periods. Many women come to us because symptoms are impacting day-to-day life, work, relationships, and confidence.

We commonly support women with:

  • Poor sleep and fatigue

  • Anxiety, low mood, irritability, loss of confidence

  • Brain fog, poor concentration, reduced motivation

  • Weight change and changes in body composition

  • Reduced libido and vaginal or urinary symptoms

  • Headaches and migraine pattern change

  • Worsening PMS symptoms during perimenopause

  • Optimising current treatment

  • Non-hormonal treatment options for perimenopause & menopause symptoms

  • Menopause treatment after cancer

  • Menopause treatment with complex medical histories

  • Menopause & ADHD

If you are unsure whether symptoms are hormone-related, we can help you make sense of the pattern and consider other health factors that should be checked.

What to Expect

Your consultation, what happens

Our approach is structured and personalised. You will leave knowing what is most likely driving your symptoms and what to do next.

Your appointment typically includes:

  • A detailed symptom history and timeline, including cycle changes

  • Review of medical history, medications, and relevant risk factors

  • Discussion of treatment options

  • A clear plan, including follow-up and review points

If you already use HRT, we can review your current regime and help you optimise it based on symptoms, tolerability, and outcomes you care about.

Treatment options

Treatment should match your symptoms, stage of menopause transition, and health profile.

Options may include:

  • Hormone replacement therapy, where clinically appropriate

  • Non-hormonal options for specific symptoms

  • Targeted support for sleep, mood, and quality of life

  • Guidance on lifestyle foundations that support treatment, including sleep, nutrition, movement, alcohol, and stress load

We will discuss benefits and risks carefully, so you can make informed choices.

Guildford menopause clinic FAQs

Do I need blood tests before my appointment
Not usually. For most women, perimenopause and menopause are diagnosed based on symptoms and history. If tests are helpful in your situation, we will explain why.

I am still having periods. Can I be in perimenopause
Yes. Many women are in perimenopause for several years while still having periods, often with cycle changes.

Can you help with anxiety and low mood in perimenopause
Yes. We consider hormone-related drivers alongside sleep, stress load, and other health factors, then agree the most appropriate options.

Do you offer online appointments if I cannot travel to Guildford
Yes. Online consultations are available UK-wide.

If symptoms are affecting your quality of life, you do not need to push through it. Book a consultation and we will help you make a plan you can feel confident in.

Bridget H

When I visited the Menopause Specialists I was really desperate, my oestrogen levels were extremely low, I was depressed & exhausted. Kate Organ, listened to my concerns attentively and compassionately. She was proficient and knowledgeable about all aspects of the menopause and l to make suggestions as to how to alleviate my symptoms. I'm delighted to say that after just 2 weeks under her care I am feeling like my old self again. I couldn't recommend her services highly enough.
